AWARD-WINNING RETAILER ATTRACTS THE CROWDS TO THE OPENING DAY OF ITS NEW STORE
The Entertainer, the UK’s fastest-growing, family-owned high street toy retailer in the UK, has launched a new store in Thistles, Stirling.
Founded in Buckinghamshire in 1981 by husband and wife team Gary and Catherine Grant, the award-winning, family-run operation offers the latest in-demand toys at fantastic prices. These include big-hitting brands such as Lego, Disney, Star Wars, PAW Patrol, Marvel, Funko, Jurassic World, LOL Dolls, Barbie and Minecraft.
The Entertainer has been the recipient of three top prizes at the prestigious Toy Industry Awards; Best Overall Toy Retailer, Best Online Retailer and Best Multiple Retailer and has a retail footprint of 159 stores nationwide.
The new Thistles store is located in the former Toys R Us unit.
To celebrate the launch, Stirling’s Provost Christine Simpson was joined by six-year-old Alice Connor for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Alice was the lucky winner of a one-minute trolley dash competition before the store opened and was delighted to take home £280 worth of toys!
Ethan Milne, aged 7 from Stirling was first in the queue and was among one of the first 25 families to receive a gift card which ranged in value from £5-£100.
The store also offered free face painting, balloon modelling and a meet and greet with Lego Robin on the opening day, all of which proved extremely popular.
