Quiet Hour

Following the success of our monthly Quiet Hour which took place on the first Sunday of every month throughout 2018, we are pleased to announce the initiative will now become a weekly fixture at Thistles.

Aiming to make the shopping experience less stressful for autistic customers, and following the positive feedback received from both customers and retailers, Quiet Hour will now take place in the centre every Sunday between 10am – 11am from Sunday 20th January.

Stores in the shopping centre will participate in the quiet hour by adjusting their lighting where possible and turning off in-store music. Thistles has been working alongside national charity Scottish Autism to build understanding of the condition across the retailers and guests can also pick up a guide designed for autistic shoppers from our Information Desk which is located near Marks & Spencer.

Can’t make our Quiet Hour on a Sunday morning? Monday and Tuesday mornings tend to be a quieter time for shoppers at Thistles.
