Following on from February’s Superhero success, the Wolf Pack continues with a free event celebrating nature and ‘Plant a Flower Day’

Thistles shopping centre is getting ready to welcome families from across Stirling and further afield to its Wolf Pack Kids’ Club event on Sunday 27 March between 12 – 4pm.

Following a successful launch of its 2022 events series, this month’s Kids’ Club will see children of all ages come together to celebrate ‘Plant a Flower Day’ by creating their very own Easter-inspired pot design, which they’ll take home alongside a soil pod and pack of seeds to grow their very own flower.

Taking place outside HMV in the city-centre shopping mall, the Wolf Pack Kids’ Club will run on the last Sunday of every month until Sunday 27 November and is completely free to attend.

Running for ten months the kids’ club will focus on sustainability, with children learning how they can help save the planet through different fun-filled activities each month, led by the Sustainable Supers. From face painting and balloon animals, to designing their own windchimes and bird houses, each session is bursting with creativity, crafts and eco-friendly education.

Gary Turnbull, Centre Director at Thistles, said: “We were delighted to see the great turnout for our first Wolf Pack event of the year and would encourage as many families as possible to not miss out and sign up for our upcoming monthly events.

“This year, with the help of the Sustainable Supers, we’re focusing on how we can all do our part to help cut down on our waste and carbon footprint and ultimately leave the world in a better place. Through the Wolf Pack children are given the opportunity to have fun and get creative while learning about serious issues facing the world such as climate change.”

The Thistles Wolf Pack Kids’ Club takes place free of charge on the last Sunday of every month, with the final session taking place on Sunday 27 November.
