Terrifyingly good fun at Thistles Stirling this Halloween

The Beastie Boo-tique event is free for kids across Stirling and beyond to enjoy this half term

With October half term almost here, Thistles shopping centre in Stirling has announced a spooktactular free five-day event for families looking for some frightful fun to keep the kids entertained.

Taking place between Monday 10th and Friday 14th October, the Beastie Boo-tique can be found outside HMV every day between 12pm and 4pm.

With a different activity each day, the Beastie Boo-tique is sure to keep kids of all ages entertained and children are encouraged to come dressed in their scariest Halloween costumes to take part in some of the gruesome goings-on.

On Monday, children will have the chance to make some Sustainable Spiders and listen to thrilling tales from the Thistles storyteller. Tuesday sees the creation of muddy puddings, complete with wiggly worms and crispy bugs. On Wednesday, the Beast Patrol will set up camp at the centre for a day of millipede meeting, tarantula touching and snake slithering where the bravest of visitors will get to hold them too. Little critters will have the opportunity to create some hanging Halloween decorations on Thursday and the week comes to a gooey end, with a slime making workshop on Friday.

Frightful families are invited to come along and enjoy the spooky sessions with no need to book for this free event.

Gary Turnbull, Centre Director at Thistles said: “Entertaining the kids during the October holidays can be costly, so we’re delighted to be able to offer a week’s worth of fun for children of all ages completely free of charge.

“With a real mix of activities throughout the week at the Beastie Boo-tique, we’re sure there is something to keep everyone happy this Halloween and we look forward to welcoming lots of families to the centre.”
