THE WOLF PACK KIDS CLUB RETURNS TO THISTLES STIRLING

– Six free monthly events teaching children how to save the world –

The Wolf Pack kids club is returning to Thistles shopping centre in Stirling on Sunday 27 June, giving children the opportunity to have fun while learning about wellbeing and how to create a more sustainable future for all.

The Wolf Pack returns with six free events which will take place on the last Sunday of every month from 11am – 4pm, offering sessions full of creativity, excitement, and eco-friendly educational activities.

Dressed to impress, the ‘Sustainable Supers’, will lead each event; from learning the importance of growing their own veggies to getting ready to kick start the new school year by saying goodbye to those single use plastics, and even teaching children how to write their own ghost stories. There’s something for everyone at this year’s Wolf Pack.

While pushing the important message of learning what we can do to protect the wellbeing of our world and cut down our carbon emissions, The Wolf Pack also offers events that will equip children with tools to take care of their wellbeing.

The first session, on Sunday 27 June will be grow your own, where children will play garden themed games and receive their own seeds to plant at home.

Next month is the eco-retreat on 25 July, where participants will try eco-themed yoga and guided meditation.

Other themes include back to school sustainability on 29 August, where children will design their own water bottle, you’ve got a friend in me on 26 September, spooky sessions for Halloween on 31 October, culminating in save our seas on 28 November.

Gary Turnbull, Centre Director at Thistles, said: “Following the great success of the 2019 Wolf Pack and our digital Wolf Pack last year, we are thrilled to welcome kids and families back to the pack for a fun filled six months of events.

“We believe that having the Sustainable Supers leading each session will be a great way to engage the children, all the while teaching them about what we can do to push for a more sustainable future.

“With a new theme each month, free entry to each event and the chance for discounts in certain stores for participants, there’s something for everyone and we hope to see many children join The Wolf Pack this year.”
